August 28, 2024 at JU Technical School Banja Luka on the initiative Union of employers of the RSOn August 28, 2024, at the Technical School Banjaluka, on the initiative of the Union of Employers of the RS, a Club of Friends of the Technical School was formed whose primary goal is further technological improvement of the school and the development of cooperation with companies through the realization of practical classes at employers.
Through the activism of the Club of Friends, which, in addition to the Employers' Union, currently consists of companies ELAS , MAHLE Kariera BIH (MAHLE Electric Drives Bosnia), Kolektor CCL Sim Technik, Banja Luka Brewery, Mercedes-Benz Autokuća Jajčević, Maxmara, Hidraulika-Flex, Hollodex and VIS, which for many years have been providing active support to the Banja Luka Technical School in various areas, it is certain that it is possible to make a significant contribution to improving the quality of vocational education and thus increase the influence of the business community on the entire process of secondary vocational education.
The meeting was attended by Bojana Kos, Acting Assistant Minister for Secondary Education and Adult Education, as well as representatives of the school.
At the meeting, it was concluded that the Club of Friends of the Technical School will be actively involved in the process of improving secondary vocational education and adapting it to the needs of the labor market in the coming period. This requires a more active involvement of business entities in the implementation of practical teaching and improvement of its quality in order to connect theoretical knowledge with practical skills that are in line with technological and market changes.
